Since it was extremely foggy outside when taking this photo, I used photoshop to brighten the blues in the sky to make the photo more vibrant. The purple flowers and the grass provided needed vibrance to the photo that would have been muted in black and white.
I had the goal when taking this photo to eventually edit to black and white. I saw the repetition in the bales of hay and the variation in the yellows in the field as an opportunity for black and white.
The lighting in this photo combined with the bright green of the apples made me think that the image would look better in color. Photo taken at Ivy Hill Farms.
The character of the old farm house along with the lack of anything notefully colorful made me choose black and white for this photo.
